Disability for an individual or employee is available in two forms. A short-term policy can be written and it has a term of six months. Long-term disability provides coverage until the insured is approved for Medicare.

 

Professional disability policies are available to doctors, dentists, attorneys, executives, athletes, entertainers, etc. Since these occupations vary greatly, each case is reviewed on an individual basis.
